Who We Are

MyDataBunker is a service operated by Tetryx Data Corporation, a company registered in the Republic of Seychelles with data infrastructure hosted in Reykjavik, Iceland. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Tetryx Data Corporation. "Service" refers to the MyDataBunker platform, including the website at mydatabunker.net, the web portal, and the desktop application.

Our Approach to Privacy

MyDataBunker uses a zero-knowledge encryption architecture. Files you upload are encrypted on your device before they reach our servers using an encryption key that is generated at account creation, shown to you once, and never stored on our systems. We cannot read, access, or decrypt the contents of your stored files.

This policy describes the limited information we do collect in order to operate the service, and how we handle that information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your country of residence
• Payment information (processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers)

We need this information to create and manage your account, process payments, and communicate with you about the service.

Waitlist Information

If you join our waitlist before the service launches, we collect your name, email address, and country. This information is used only to notify you when the service becomes available.

File Metadata

When you upload files, our servers store the encrypted file data along with unencrypted metadata such as file names, directory structure, file sizes, and upload timestamps. This metadata is necessary for the service to display your file directory and manage storage. The contents of your files are always encrypted and unreadable to us.

Server Logs

Our servers automatically record basic connection information including IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser or client identifiers. These logs are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Server logs are retained for no more than 30 days and then permanently deleted.

Cookies and Website Analytics

The mydatabunker.net website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function (such as session management). We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or social media trackers. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform that shares data with outside parties.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• To create, maintain, and authenticate your account
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To provide customer support when you contact us
• To send you service-related communications (account confirmations, billing notices, security alerts)
• To monitor and protect the security and integrity of our infrastructure
• To comply with applicable legal obligations under Seychelles and Icelandic law

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral targeting. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any reason.

What We Cannot Access

Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, the following data is encrypted with a key we do not possess and is inaccessible to us under any circumstances:

• The contents of any file you upload
• Your encryption key

We cannot provide the contents of your files to any third party, including law enforcement, because we are technically unable to decrypt them. This is a function of the system architecture, not a policy decision.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We share your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processing: Your payment information is handled by our third-party payment processor, which operates under its own privacy policy. We do not store your full credit card or bank account details.
• Infrastructure providers: Your encrypted file data is stored on servers in Iceland operated by our data center provider. They have physical access to the hardware but not to the encryption keys needed to read your files.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose account information (not file contents, which we cannot access) if required by valid legal process under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles or Iceland. We will evaluate any such request for validity under the applicable jurisdiction before complying and will notify you if legally permitted to do so.

We do not participate in advertising networks, data broker arrangements, or any program that involves sharing user data for commercial purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Your encrypted data is stored on servers located in Reykjavik, Iceland. Tetryx Data Corporation is incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles. This dual-jurisdiction structure is designed to reduce exposure to foreign regulatory frameworks.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect our infrastructure, including AES-256 encryption, TLS for data in transit, access controls on our systems, and regular security monitoring. While we take reasonable steps to protect the service infrastructure, no system is completely immune to breach. The zero-knowledge architecture ensures that even in the event of a server compromise, your file contents remain encrypted and unreadable.

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and for up to 30 days after account deletion to allow for reactivation requests.
• Encrypted files: Retained for the duration of your account. When you delete a file, it is permanently removed from our systems. When you close your account, all encrypted data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Server logs: Retained for no more than 30 days.
• Payment records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial reporting obligations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you (account information, not file contents, which only you can decrypt)
• Correct inaccurate account information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your files at any time through the web portal or desktop application (provided you have your encryption key)
• Withdraw from marketing communications at any time

Key Loss

If you lose your encryption key, we cannot recover it. Your encrypted data will become permanently inaccessible. We are unable to reset, regenerate, or bypass your key under any circumstances. This is an intentional security feature. We strongly recommend storing your key in a secure offline location.

Children

MyDataBunker is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete that information promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (using the address associated with your account) and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
